It's been a weird time. 2019 was weird, disappointing, bad in many ways and tumultuous in others. Looking forward with optimism towards 2020 has been met with unfathomable happenings. I didn't imagine this would be a world we exist within.

After engrossing my world in more and more ambient music from hundreds of different artists and bands, I wanted to contribute something of my own to the horrible reality we're currently living in. Thus I present 'Coherence', a short album constructed of three found ambient recordings that I had previously forgotten all about. I can't remember the original contexts for much of these tracks, but after re-discovering them, and re-tinkering them, I feel there is something here worth presenting.

This release will precede what will be one of the last Light & Day albums that was recorded through improvised means in Audacity, creating drones and layering them over each other in a randomized fashion of careless creativity. The next album follows this format too, which will end the phase of albums constructed in this manner. More on that in the future though.

For now, feel free to enjoy this little album, released to you for whatever price you see fit.
