about

(2018-2019)

Wings of a Butterfly Nebula was my first album recording utilizing looper pedals and e-bows. Prior to recording this album, all albums under the moniker consisted of affecting and treating sounds through audio recording software. It was on Wings of a Butterfly Nebula that I experimented with improvised compositions born from the moment itself. Incorporating the e-bow and a specific space-function on an old reverb pedal I was borrowing at the time, as well as reversing effects through a DD-20 Giga Delay pedal, the entire album slowly blossomed forth, forming itself through the performances themselves. Through improvising, a narrative of the exploration of space and it's many intriguing locations started to form.
